So much has happened over the past months and it because of all these, im starting to change. i need to and i want to. i realised it's because of my attitude that people don't have a good impression of myself. it's probably only those who've been with me for a long time really know who i am and that the things that i do or say may not be what other think so negatively of. I've lost some friends along the way and it definitely isnt good, especially since i depend a lot on my friends for company. hence instead of trying so hard to convince them, i shall do the change.

yesterday marks the end of the 7 days chalet and the air force open house. staying in for 7 days wasnt as bad as i thought it'd be. this was nothing compared to the confinement in tekong, stuck in that stupid island the whole time.

i initially thought the open house is quite stupid and wouldn't attract much people coming to visit but i was totally wrong. the crowd was so damn overwhelming! thousands and thousands of people everywhere and they just walk into the base nonstop.

was situated at hougang interchange to do security screens and trust me, the interchange was overcrowded. people are actually willing to queue more than an hour just to get onto the shuttle bus and get a glance of air crafts and whats not. standing under the hot sun, taking photos with the pilots and even the armguards. LOL! Perhaps a better explanation would be that they wanna know where their money went to. hahaha! Eunos interchange went on STOMP even. Singaporeans really have nothing better to do.

Kids are either in awe or fear soldiers. a majority of them thinks we are some kind of celebrity, keep coming close to us, touching us or if not saluting. either that or they shun away and hide behind their parents. LOL! so sometimes, i'll just stare straight at them with the killer eyes and look at their intimidated expressions, cute ttm!

toured the carnival on sat after duty and i realised why it managed to attract so many people. the static displays alone is enough to explain why. every single aircraft in singapore is being displayed there, for the public to sit in them personally and tour the larger planes to see how it actually operates. the effort and money put into organising this event is unimaginable. the whole hangar area has transformed! thus i'll probably go there to visit 2 yrs later. OMG I SOUND SO PRO ARMY!!!!!!!! NO GOOD NO GOOD!

after an exact week of agony, the mirror issue has come to a conclusion without us having to pay anything, not even a single cent mind you. we just had to serve 5 hours of extra duties. good fortune, good fortune..

this thing didnt slip my my mind at all throughout the 7 days and now that it's solved i can finally rest my mind. lets just hope they dont revoke the case.

/shall pause my itunes, it's making type nonsense.

gonna watch pirates of the carribean later. honestly, i've not watched a single pirates movie before and i know watching the 4th sequel doesnt make any sense. but for meeting up with my classmates i'll do it. hahaha otherwise i wouldnt be seeing them anytime soon.

staying for 1 week from monday onwards for the air force open house. i foresee long duty hours and demanding workload coming my way. what to do, what to do. time really have to pass quickly this coming week!

So come visit us, so that our efforts dont go to waste. haha

ive been feeling uneasy for the past few days, specifically from friday onwards. something's been stucked in my oesophagus and ive been burping nonstop. burping may be normal but burping with pain in the chest definitely isnt. no matter what i try, downing water with force, drinking warm water, trying to burp out loudly and all, it still feels queasy. guess ive to go and consult a doctor.

a simple analyzation of the demand and supply of snsd.

The supply of celebrities like snsd is scarce. Scarcity refers to unlimited wants but limited resources. Therefore, because of the limited, or rather, the only girl group (snsd), producers have to practise Price rationing, whereby the producer, which in this case is SME, will only allow fans to watch a snsd performance if they are willing and able to pay for the admission. those that are unwilling and unable to afford will be kicked out of the market.

As the Kpop fever continues to spread all around the world, snsd is becoming more and more popular by the minute or even seconds. In every second, one or more human would get to know who snsd really is. Hence this would cause a sharp increase in the demand of snsd, causing the demand curve to shift rightwards from D1 to D2 as shown in the graph. Moreover, snsd can only be at a given place at any one time, as there is only the one girls' generation on earth (maybe mars got another one lah i dunno). In other words, the supply of snsd can be said to be perfectly price inelastic. Therefore, this would cause the price of a single snsd performance to increase sharply, assuming ceteris paribus.

Thus this explains why the following had occurred:

SNSD’s “Great Escape from Japan”

In order to appear on successive stages for the year end music festivals in Japan and Korea, Korea's beautiful legged 9 member girl group, SNSD, pressed on the epic mission to leave Japan on the 30th.
Just after 7pm, after performing at the 52nd Japan Record Awards held at Hatsudai's New National Theatre in Shibuya, Tokyo, they jumped onto the vans prepared for them outside the concert hall and drove to the awaiting charter plane at Haneda Airport.
Having a very tight by the minute schedule, they landed in Seoul at 10:10pm and won KBS Gayo Daejun's Grand Prix prize "Best Song of the Year."

The beautiful legged 9 girls that are sweeping over Japan and Korea used their legs in full and took a plunge in an unprecedented operation.

On the evening of the 29th, the nine girls arrived in Japan a little bit before 11 pm on the same evening that they attended the SBS Gayo Daejun held in the outskirts of Seoul, in order to perform a stage for the Japan Record Award’s “Best Rookie of the Year” Award. On the following morning, the 30th, they rehearsed at the New National Theater, and then starting at 6:30pm held a live performance for the Record Awards on TBS.

While, the Best Rookie of the Year Award unfortunately went to S/mileage, at 6:55pm when they were finished singing “Gee”, they dashed to the waiting room. They quickly changed from their costumes to casual clothes, and rode in two waiting vans. In order to plan for unforeseen accidents or occurrences, they prepared two additional spare vans and at 7:05pm entered the Shinjuku Interchange and rode on Tokyo’s freeway to a special charter plane (seats 13 people) that was waiting on standby at Haneda airport.

In order to make sure that their transportation went smoothly, several routes were planned in advance. The staff that were waiting at the airport checked traffic conditions on the internet, and then decide on the very best route. In order to prevent loss of time at the airport as well, the staff checked-in luggage beforehand, and they had a firm policy of bringing nothing in besides themselves.

Thanks to this strategy, they arrived at Haneda airport at 7:38pm. They took off at 8:10pm and at 10:10pm safely landed at Gimpo Airport. The nine girls had to take off at 8:00pm to perform at KBS Hall at 11:50pm, and though they left late past 8:00, they made it by a hair’s breadth.

In Korea they shone by taking 1st place for 2 years in a row in the general award for “Best Artist of the Year.” In September, they debuted in Japan with a big break, making an unprecedented 880 million yen in sales.

Though they have a very fine schedule that plans for each minute and each second that normal people wouldn’t think of, the feelings of gratitude from the members who say “We want to meet Japanese and Korean fans” can be felt. Even 007 would be surprised at the ultra mobilization strategy they enact.

It was worthwhile though, they shone by receiving the “Best Song of the Year” Award at the KBS Gayo Daejun, which should make up for the fact that in Japan the Best Rookie of the Year award got away. This one evening symbolized their activities for the year. Moreover, it seems that next year the days of travelling all over between South Korea and Japan will only increase.

Happy New Year to all out there!

first thing in the morning, or maybe afternoon, i switched on my laptop and guess what. it blacked out! recently, whenever i watch youtube, the screen fizzles and blacks out but it seems i could still operate other functions, like blogging now. hope i can find the warranty out otherwise its gonna cost a bomb!

went for countdown yesterday. first time in the city. i know right, very noob. was supposedly mtg dom only but ended up having more than that. had steamboat at da chang jin in kallang and i feel karma comign its way. because we din pay and left. i still feel very guilty but i had no choice because the rest of them were leaving and i cant possibly stay there or i would die, either from them killing me or from being broke. why like that!? tsk tsk.
okay anyway went to marina later to meet up with the rest, played monopoly deal, like any others would and slowly made our way to esplanade after that. wah i tell u, the journey was arduous man! so many people, no correction so many banglas down there. i swear half the people there are them man! irritating shit! in ten years' time, i think the countdown only got them sia.
so we got a commando with us and he did all the bashing, through humans and vegetation, we just followed behind hahahaha! walk walkwalk for about 45 min finally found a good spot on the highway and true enough, the fireworks were right in front of us! super nice man!
thereafter it was hell.
and we walked to clarke quay which was quite a good choice. pretty ladies all around, i loike. i think im gonna countdown every year already hahahaa. and guess what, we took 2 hours plus to find a cab kthxbye.

what i wanted to say was about being pissed by certain characters that one has. if u havent realised/know me enough, im super annoyed when people keep asking stupid questions or questions that cannot be answered (not rhetorical). this is esp if they are asking for the sake of asking (for fun), as a habit (such as 'really meh', 'huh?', 'why leh') or they are just out to irritate you. this is coming from a person who was stuck doing duty with an annoying and and 'elite' counterpart for an awesome 6 hours. and the best part is you know some people, they just like to 'huh?' at everything even if they heard what you said. it really went beyond my limits and my blood just boil until become steam.
such personnels simply like to challenge every single statement you make or ask tings that are totally irrelevant to their lives. simple put, they utilise the 5W1H for everything that you tell them. like what you eat, how u eat, where u eat, why u eat, when u eat, which ____ u eat, as though knowing all these makes them a happier person.
i thought, perhaps it's because of my personality and not their fault. is it? maybe...
then again, im gonna be stuck with these personnel until i ord and there're lots of them in the society. so i just have to swallow it up and suck my juicy thumb. an acquaintance is better than an enemy.

after a month of waiting, the reply i got was 'sorry i couldnt order the products that you ordered' wtheck is this. ive been calling, sms-ing and email-ing this guy for the entire week because it was almost time that the things arrive, but he just refused to respond to any. and ytd he finally posted an update online saying he was busy with his school work and stuff and thus he missed the 'international trading phase' with the supplier. now, want to buy also cannot because all orders online had already closed about 3 weeks ago. dunno whether to thank him for his effort or to be angry with him. and for the other the item that had arrived, he scheduled the collection day to be on 24th, 4pm. WTHECK RIGHT! who the hell will be free to go and entertain you man, esp at a weird time like 4pm. of cos for me, it's a different reason, cos ive to be in camp for duty. and again im waiting for his reply whether can meet another time to pick up my stuff. liek a slave waiting for the king's reply.

last sunday i went to change my phone like FINALLY! finally, get rid of the stupid blackberry phone that has brought me so much trouble. the guy who served me was, i swear, the worst service ive got at singtel, or even at anywhere else. whenever i ask him a question, the answers that he gave are merely yes or no.
"what is the difference between phone 1 and phone 1A?"
"no difference, one got keyboard, one dont have" like as if i cannto see liek that.
and after asking a few more questions, THEN he said,
"sorry there's no more stock for phone 1A" WTHECK shouldnt you have todl me this earlier!
then nvm, he took out the new handset and din even bother to explain how to use or at least test-run the phone, like how these companies usually would. i was so fucking pissed that i straightaway went hoem to complain on the singtel customer feedback. fyi, ive never done anything like that in my life. damn it! the whoel change of phone process took less than 10 min.

Golden Disk Award 2010 just ended about 45 min ago. Though one can see that the awards were awarded based on fairness and not because whether the artists were present or not, the videography and performances werent as good as those on MAMA.
firstly, the camera crew is just plain dumb. during Secret's performance, half the time, they were either shooting it from an aerial view (seeing their heads move around) or from afar (looking at ants moving). retarded or what. although it got better later in the show, i still think they shouldnt just focus on one person so much that you dunno whats going on behind. noentheless, many of my favourite groups performed, like cnblue, shinee and so on.

HOWEVER, on a brighter note, the awards were presented FAIRLY! almost every artists from every company got an award, except of course, YG Entertainment. none attended nor awarded. (and now they even offended SBS for abandoning Inkigayo for MAMA). miss A was the only group that got an award despite attending MAMA. and of course........

SNSD WON DISK DAESANG AWARD. it's the most prestigious award of the evening and they are the first gril group to ever win this! if you have watched it live, the girls were crying like there's no tomorrow. the tears just kept flowing and flowing. sadly my wife wasnt present (at home with me ma hahahahahah).

i dunno what to put as the title, hence blank.

have been quite lazy recently, everytime i intend to blog, the moment i type a few words, then dont feel like bloggin ald. hahaha im not a monetary blogger anyway.

over the last weekend, the prssco alumni organised the 2nd leadership camp for the current batch of students. arghhhh i feel so old when im with them. im at least 5 years older than them you know. FYI, their i/c numbers begin with 96XXXXXX. holy cow. and perhaps because of that, i think i really am old. run abit tired, when tiem to sleep, just sleep. i swear not a single soul stayed up through the night, unlike the past where only a few would sleep. time's have changed i guess.
i felt this camp wasnt as much prepared as the previous one la, given that i was only noticed about this 2 weeks prior to the camp and i had so be in camp most of the time. plus i dunno why i felt so shag thoughout the camp. anyhow, the campers enjoyed themselves, based on what i see on facebook. their feedback were rather good. and thats whats most important.

C'mon la. i mean it's good lah (esp 2pm and Big bang) but shldnt there be more variety. dont say live, snsd only appeared twice on the screens. wtheck man. so dam angry after the show ended.

Im partially sunburnt now.
First time going out with poeple from my platoon and i can say they're a good bunch of people. hahah but almost everything we did at the beach ytd was half fk kind. play volleyball until like shit then dun wan play, then suddenly a portion of them went to play basketball, build sculture halfway sand dry too quickly then dun wan build ald. after awhile, everyone just got super lethargic, haha prolly because some of them just booked out la heh
after that we went to vivo to have dinner @ sushi tei. im quite scared of them. most of them are super BIG eaters man! havent even order start complaining scared not full. another one even more zai, order ramen and katsu curry eat himself. IMBA! and boys will be boys lah. we 'flirted' with the salesgirl selling the long long candy outside gv. she's quite cute tho.

Last week when i was on leave, i received a call informing me about a callback (to base) which is likely to happen between 29 Oct to 4 Nov. hence i was damn paranoid. i kept checking my phone every now and then to make sure i dont miss the call/sms. i brought two phones wherever i went to (in case need book in) and i din even dare to go out so much. so on sunday night, night before i book in the next day, i happily went to sleep at about midnight when suddenly at 3am SHARP, my phone rang.
all i rmbed was "you have been mobilised" WAH HOU SEH! 3am sia! quickly go wash up and change. chiong down took cab and all you know, taxi queues right outside the camp (it involved the entire camp fyi) with people waiting to alight. nice!

Note: Part one will be about the process of going to the concert and about SNSD only. i havent got time to do up pictures of other groups.

Kpop Night WAS AWESOME!!!!!
it started with a bang and ended with a Big(ger) Bang!

okay before going into the details of the concert, something happened which almost cost me not only $300, but also the chance to watch the concert.

anyway as i was expecting a super long queue at the standing pit, i wanted to meet up with cd to queue up earlier so as to get better standing areas so called. so i kept calling him the night before to give me the tic so that i could go queue first (but actually is no need tic to queue one -.-) and that he doesnt have to wake up so early. but him being him, cant wake up and so in the end have to meet him at a supposed time of 12 noon! then i wait wait wait, how come no one, called him, say on the way. then about 15 min later he called.

"woah 我差一点不见那个ticket sia, 我掉then上bus的时候发现不再pocket里面。heng我跑回去找，找得到sia!" [he was damn kan chiong, me heartattack]

then nvm, i asked him, so now it's with you la, he said yes.
so i wait wait wait againnnnn, until 1330 he finally reached ! nathan although i do alot of guard duty used to waiting, dont like that lehh. hahaha kidding.
and you what he told me when he saw me?

"你懂hor, 我刚才又不见一次leh."

i was like WHAT THE FUCK!?! two times in 15 min. [me heartattack X2]
so... the smart and correct choice would be giving me the ticket to keep lah. haha

ok so now at expo ald. and the queue is hor, very hor the LOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG! in my mind, i was thinking, no need see anything ald lah like that, we're almost the last few ald sia. then i saw bixuan and her sister heh. so for that 30 min or so we were planning how to cut into the queue, to where cd's frens were. and you know those people kept staring (i would lah if i queue, heh paiseh lah). AND FINALLY THE CHANCE CAME! it started drizzling, so they had to move all the people into the shelter, and so amidst the chaos, we somehow managed to sneak into the queue and tadaaa! thanks guys!

and at 8pm sharp and is really quite sharp three emcees came out then talk some cock and tried to boost the crowd which is quite phail. then the korean ambassador and Mr George Yeo came out to give the opening address and yada yada.....

Time to hit the gym not soon, but more regularly! jog more, eat less, train more... IPPT COMING! went back to PLAB for the first time in a long time and straightaway had to do 8.5 hours straight! was really quite hard to adapt back at first, even drawing arms wasnt like normal. i kept making mistakes about the timings and all. hahahaha and many thing shad changed since i left, with more lounges for the men. there's a fridge, hd tv (if im not wrong) and sofa! and some of my platoon mates were promoted, nice! but once the ord personels leave, it's gonna be back to the same old long mounting hours. so i better enjoy while i can!

Was intending to do up a proper post ytd, but some unfortunate incident (refer to previous entry) happened. anyway allow moi to tell you how super duper suay i was ytd.

Apparently, the hair incident was the beginning of all suay things to happen. So after the haircut, i was so angry that i decided to head home even though my original plan was to gym. then i met wl and sh later in the evening to collect something back from her. so happily we were walking to the "Shaved Ice" store @ Katong, and guess what, IT CLOSED DOWN! suayx2. NVM, next better place, Ice Cream Chefs. had a good talk with them and when i was about to go home, i happily boarded bus 12 when it came. and as you might have guessed, yes i took the wrong direction. i was like, how come will passby Long Beach and Jumbo Seafood restaurant one. wah then siao liao lo, ended up at geylang. you had no idea how fed i was, all accumulated right from the stupid haircut plus i was already dam sleepy by that time. FML, big time!

anyway i finished my driving course and officially has a military driving license! muahahahaha, nothing much to be proud of also, since i dun think i will get to drive a lot. so i guess i would still get a civilian license soon and not wait to clock 7000 km which i think is rather impossible.

Busy weekend

It's been sometime i had a full weekend, as in those can really sleep at home for 2 whole nights without waking up to alarms (why alarms, because i have two of them).
Been goign out for the past few days and nights for shopping, supper and all. quite fun, at least some company. heh got myself the Dupe flip flops since NUB has that Founders' Day promotion and luckily i went to day, because today's the LAST DAY!. hahaha heng ar!
and im semi sick, argh sucks!

If you have been on FB, you'd have noticed the specs had passed out ald. Looking at those pictures really makes me wonder if i had made the right choice not to be a commander. but then again, being a man has benefits that cannot be derived if i were a spec, likeeeeee having a saf driving license?! hahaha thats beats everything.

anyway, i know you're reading this. i guess dialouges, long and HTH kind would best solve your current situation. it's been ongoing and im sure the both of you suffer, esp you. it's always easy to start, but difficult to maintain, and youve come a long way. cherish it. thats all i can say here, you can text me if you want to anytime.

if not for the stupid car that dashed during my first driving i woul dhave passed on my first attempt. but nonetheless i passed on my second and that day was damn smooth for me, not much traffic/ reckless drivers. so im very very thankful!

as such, all those who passed woul dget to do their islandwide driving for 200km! so basically, we drive from SAFDC (near tampines) to MDC (near mandai zoo) to clock the distance.

good points:
1. NO INSTRUCTOR!
2. got auto jeep, NAISE!
3. can blast music, tactically. hahaha

bad points:
1. auto jeep no shelter, no windscreen
2. rain = die

in the army, people from all walks of life do gather. some are intelligent, some are OVER intelligent, some are slow, some are fit, some not fit, some clever, some are stubborn, some are guai lan, some are just plain...i wont say they are dumb/retarded, they're just... hmmm acting cute? in a bad way of course.

after many years, the tagboard has returned. just felt really bored at home, so just play around with gadgets hat i can find online. fyi, my phone hasnt rang for 2 days ald, such a bloody loner!

will be having my saf driving test tmr and im indeed super duper extremely nervous for it because the testers arent kind at all. any slight mistakes, fail. and the thing about saf vehicles is that, there's damn alot of things to do even before starting off the vehicle.

1. walk around the 4 wheels to check whether the nuts of the wheel are tightened
2. take out wheel chock
3. adjust seat
4. safety belt (quite durh!)
5. ask tester to wear safety belt
6. inform the tester that there's a standing order for veh com on the windscreen (which he already and definitely knows it's there)
7. ask tester whether can start vehicle
8. on master switch
9. on ignition switch
10. on headlight
11. gear 1, biting point
12. signal right
13. release handbrake, move off

SEE! other than the last few points, the rest is really dam easy to forget, esp when in the state of nervousness. TMR ALL THE CARS ON THE ROAD BETTER DRIVE PROPERLY AND DONT SABO ME!

okay so we had (quite a failed) a class outing yesterday. only four of us watched the movie in the end, but heck it was damn freaking funny please. 'Going the distance'. i cashed in the complimentary ticket i was given form cathay for that lousy expandible show and finally, after such a long time, a decent (well maybe not) show. why not, sexual contents. hahaha!
i realised any shows that exibit sexual contents are usually funny. and the odd thing is, there were so many couples watching that show. it's gonna weird lah i think, surely inside their minds portray themselves as the actors one. ha! wonder how many lost their vir... okay maybe not, since they DRY HUMP! went for platoon cohesion ytd with platoon one of course.
The Expandibles @ The Cathay. all of us were so excited because of the stars that were involved in this movie and moreover since it's a action pack movie it'll be greater when watched with boys. BUT IT TURNED OUT THAT IT WAS A MAJOR PHAIL PLEASE! it's so fail that i cant even spell it correctly.
the plot itself was already bad with mediocre acting from the rest of the cast other than stallone, jet and arnold, whom btw only appeared for >5min. PLUS they, as in Cathay actually played the sequence of the show wrongly. it's like the ending and biggest hooha was in the middle of the show and all of them died, and suddenly all of them were alive again and explaining how they planned for the attack. you know, if it was only a short recall, it'd be alright, but it was a damn detailed one, so my friend beside me was like, "i think they played the wrong view" and he started explaining how the screening of the show worked, which i obviously dunno!
so we went to complain to the staff after the show, and apparently we were not the only ones there. hahaha then again, not everyone in the theatre was there, so i think they sua ku thought the show fucking cool, play the ending first then the process. ANYWAY, ive got a complimentary ticket! hahahaha WHO'S UP FOR STEP UP 3!?

and i finally got a replacement for my BB after goign to Starhub to complain for 3-4 times. tell them so many times it's the phone set problem not my battery they dont believe. so i went to buy a new battery and then the try this try that, i nthe end give me new one! tsk tsk tsk

mounted duty on National Day.
i can say it was one of the best mounts that we had. good food the whole day, good mounting hours, well at least for me, and being able to watch the parade in the gym! hahahaha
i missed the marching part but as i finished my duty at about 6pm, the F-15s began to take off which is cool but freeeeaaaaaking noisy.

got a feeling tmr's duty will be quite tiring. and alsoooooo tmr is my PCs last mount before he ORD. i sincerely hope the new PC will be muuuccccchhhhhh betta than this.

and and tmr is Secret's comeback with some new song. their outfit looks like the white version of Run Devil Run and its gonna be some electronic pop song. LOOKING FORWARD!

had a mini gathering with the class, 107, ytd at marina sq. caught Salt and i actually fell asleep for quite long in the movie. the show's quite disappointing, just action-packed all the way. i mean i should have expected this given the previous few movies that starred angelina, like Wanted, but this was worse. perhaps Inception was too good a movie. heh heh heh. best is, i may be watching it again with my curent platoon during cohesion night. *cross fingers*

/let me do some rantings first...

honestly, RPs at wherever im posted to right now is probably the MOST up rp in the whole of army. seriously, not that i wanna act or what, but the things we do here are almost insane, like a bao ka liao those kind. mounting hours are crazy, and people are complaining to our unit almost every other day as though their main purposely of working is to spy on us to catch us standing on one leg, hand holding on to the lamp post, dozing off and so on. i personally have not committed any of those but if it goes on at this rate, it's a high chance of getting complained. mind you most, in fact about 95% of the entire place there comprises of regulars. eng eng bo tai zi come complain.
PLUS, NDP and YOG are coming, the whole of aug is gonna be hell, given the number of manpower we have here right now.

NDP 2010 (NE Show)

Before that, i went out to watch Inception with jade on thursday.
i can tell u, it's one of the most, if not, MOST complicated show ive watched in my 19 years of life. jade and i were frowning at the start trying to figure what they're talking about. i tot i was the only one who doesnt understand (cause i always take quite some time to digest the storyline), scared to ask her, paiseh ma. then she suddenly turned around and said, 'i dont understand'. LOL!
it's exciting lah, with the effects and all those building turn around thing, but seriously the plot is.. hmm lets just say it takes some time to understand full stop

yesterday i went to watch NDP NE Show with my dad. why i got tickets? cos my mum participated in this year's show! can only say the performance part of the show have been deproving by the years and indeed this year's really not nice. the marching part was a little more special, doing a forward march instead of the traditional march pass. and of cos being in the army, i could better understand all the commands and what the different uniforms represent. AIR SHOW WAS COOL! the F-15 that i see everyday in camp is actually so cool, can so many pattern pattern one leh.

anyway my diet plans always seem to fail when i come home. i try to eat as little as possible nowadays. gym's near my reach, in fact it's just a block away from my bunk, armed with facilities that any gym can provide. the radio, hifi player, tv. although it's not as equipped as how a commercial gym should be, im just there to run. LOL i sound as though im promoting their gym. wtheck! the point is, im lazy. my mind always tells me to go on diet but i just cant seem to, always succumb to bookouts and snacks. sadded ttm!

i dunno why must they take it in tokyo since korea seemed like a better place to me but nonetheless, the book is definitely worth it.

this photobook is printed using extremely good quality paper, which churns out good and quality pictures. HIGH DEFINITION! it's so clear and close up that you can see every single detail on their faces (not like they have pimples or wrinkles or what), the types/brands of clothes they are wearing. it's thicker than the your freindly Sec 4 chemistry book and weighs more than a M16 i think. hahaha and thats about 2kg ++?

believe it or not, they seem to know that im surely gonna buy the book and even printed my name on it. HAHAHA

Dont ask me why im here today. i reported sick so i get to stay home to rest.
anyway i went to watch toy story 3 yesterday. omg i felt like a kid all over again.
toy story was my favourite catoon when i was young, ive watched toy story 1 and 2 for umpteen times i dare to say.
som much so that my parent brought me to usa to specially buy the toys from the show. ive got the real sized buzz and woody in my house and it's still workign right now.

toy story 3 is a must-watch. you wont regret it. it's funny and entertaining. but the ending was kinda of sad and touching when andy eventually had to give his toys away but to someone whom he thinks is worthy of playign with them and someone whom he thinks will take very good care of them. just imagine after so many years the toys are sitll in good working condition. hahahah not bad ar.

Was in camp the other day during my Walnut exercise when mum gave me a miss call. She told me i received a letter from MJ and that is it! dunno whether can attend anot, cause may have duty sia. who's going? tell me tell me!

haha lets talk about the walnut exercise. It's a simulation of attacks that people on duty may face and they made it so real. it's really tiring physically and mentally, cause we do not have beds to sleep on and neither do we have a fixed location to sleep at as well. however, i should say it's exciting and thrilling when an attack comes.
lemme just talk about the attack during the last day, which they term it as the 'finale' and like it or not, i was on my section was on duty at the access point. it was a 2-4am shift btw, so all like zombie ald. SUDDENLY three vehicles came and people from the first vehicle all alighted and grabbed hold of us. it's like some real intruder attack. following, they comms the 2 vehicles to proceed and attack the other access points as well. machiam real fight sia. FUN!
there was another incident, similar to this but not so intensed, the vehicle rammed the whole barricade away sia. hahaha! siao.

so im posted to paya lebar right now, which i presume it's a prety good start since people posted together with me are people whom i know and it's definitely much nearer to clementi? gonna report on monday.

yesterday we (bron, hl, scholar and me) went to the pc show. dun say i sua ku okay, i first time go only hahahaha. super packed! dam alot of people and they just give flyers like free. [and got quite alot of pretty gal galzxd] anyway i bought the earphone for 116 and the effect i super tokong. listen ald just dun feel like takign it off man!

yesterday was "POP" from ST combat course.
was supposed to book out by 1pm but again, because of the inefficiencies and cock ups here and there with our new posting, we only got to leave camp at 4 plus instead.

the past 6 weeks have been fun esp with the company of the NDU guys. perhaps they are the reason why i dont really dread goign to camp. being with them always brings you laughter and joy. is like they play and rape each other anytime anywhere, even in the middle of the road and the main auditorium. at first they looked really those inapproachable kind as though they were some elites. but as days passed, got to know them better and before you know it, we became friends already. these group of 12 consists of many different kidn of talents and personalities. one who is super good at electronics, who camp make a battery pack himself, a jap, a guy who resembles many tw stars like jay, a chindian? and of cause a bloody joker. hahahahahaha
i regret not booking in earlier in the morning cause i missed the supposed turnout that they plotted. after pop, we met up for a dinner and movie, shrek. haha yes, im like hte youngest amongst them you know. ha. some brought their girlfriends and as typical guys, they just play at the arcade, 'abandoning' their girlfriends. dam funny.
but the show ended late, durh cause we started late, so some had to go home. lets meet again next time. heh

meeting up with 107 later for k session. lets hope its fun!

the past two weeks have been eventful and quite tiring i should say.
bloddy hell, keep turning us out in full battle order. two times in a night somemore and ar..... most buay tahan one, when ive ald fallen asleep okay! i dam buay song ar cause it's for some very stupid reason. this fucker go play psp after lights then the other one talking. wtf seriously. fucking just sleep ar. du lan. hhaha

anyway, three live firings over the past two weeks.
GPMG, probably the best thing on earth i tell you. the feelign of shooting it is like orgasmic man! but just that must climb an extremely steep and high hill to shoot lah. but it's all worth it.
then came atp marksmanship. DAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM SIAN! $200 gone. dont talk about it man.
then yesterday urban ops live firing. quite scary, cos anytime will shoot your buddy one. real bullets leh. chua sai.

friends are hard to come by.
it's not the quantity, it's the quality of friendship that matters.

cliche? but true..

quality friendship is something that has failed in my life. many a times, people might say that i make friends very easily and that i have many friends of which i wouldnt deny. in fact, throughout my 18.5 years of life, my type of character has gained me friends in everywhere i go to. be it schools, organisations, workplaces and even in the army. perhaps it's because i come from a single child family and i depend on all these friends that i have to keep me entertained, to keep me going, to keep me... away from loneliness. anything wrong with that?
contrary to that, my character would deny me of certain friends i know and i think it's because of that, that i have not many 'best' friends.
i envy people with a good buddy, as in those whom you'll think of all the time, apart from BGR, do everything and anything together. [i have one though, but doubt he reciprocates]

hence, ive tried many methods in search of a good friend whom i can depend on, whom i can share everything with. from trying to be more generous and even to doing things that i know i will lose out on. apparently, all has failed as evident from now.
on the other hand, i wouldnt deny that ive made lots of good friends along the way, though not 'best', but still GOOD!

speaking about friendships, till now, there's still a prick within me that makes me regret for what ive done during my early days in MJC. had i been more decisive and more confident to take on the relationship, i guess i wouldnt be typing this post.
there's still an overdued explanation that ive yet to make, but i guess it all doesnt matter now. afterall, she's moved on and leading a good life now.

i remember exactly a year ago, the title of my post was 'Happy Labourous Day'.
i think it's because the teachers gave us super dam alot of homework and assignments just because of the so called holiday.

side track: i had a dream last night which i think is kinda weird to have it now. the dream was about me playing during the exam period. if im not wrong it's a gameboy. so i kept scoldign myself and feeling guilty, until the day of the exams. btw, it's 'A' Levels. LOL!

anyway, i just realised my book out timings is gonna be super awkward once i pass out from my course. (not like it's very normal now, next week im booking in and out on sun! beat that!) its like those do one or two days of duty then off for the following day those kind. my life is gonna suck, big time! moreover more of my friends have enlisted. speaking of that, i made some friends from naval diving unit (NDU) in my current course and from the looks of it, they seem to be training dogs and not humans there. wonder how will kenneth survive. hahaha. shall see. but im sure he'll have a good time there making friends because most of them are those joker type one. everytime they gather to play, they never fail to make you laugh. when they tell you stories about their life in NDU, you feel like bmt in tekong is nothing. nice.

went for medical appointment for the review of my results on thurs. and now i have to go back there for three more times. two to check on my hormones and the last one is to go to a dermatologist. dam it, they suspect i have skin problem which i hope dont have lah. sian leh! got phobia of goign to the hospital ald sia. hospophobic. heh.

i got another letter of acceptance from nus business school. so now i have to choose btw NTU and NUS and both of them praise themselves until like both very good liddat leh. how to choose.

Security Troopers

For your information, i'm no longer in Guards!
apparently, the guards were not supposed to have any intake at this time. in fact, they did not even expect us to be there (at bedok camp). nonetheless, they said they would still hold us despite the inconveniences in the planning and hierachy of programmes.

so we were sent to our bunks, which is located at the fifth floor by the way, did some area cleaning and unpacked our stuff into the lockers. took some rest and went for our lunch. after that, we were told to pack everything back into our bags and gather at the auditorium for some emergency talk by CO. Later we found out that the HQ reposted us into different units. some went to armour, drivers and what have you. and me, to the so called RP (regimental police).
and there i am, after a whole day of run about, climbing up the stiars and all, i ended up at clementi camp. great.

nope, rp is not slack at all. we are called st now and it's no more like the normal two weeks stay out thing. 6-8 weeks of course. ha anyway i just finished my live range for M16 on sat. missed two dam it!
gonna book in soon and it's a long journey there. awwww.
oh yes, FIELD CAMP IS TMR! nice one.

met up with different groups of people whom ive not seen over the past few days.

Saturday
went out for dinner with beloved s107. though only a few came, it was still quite a good dinner. it's the company that counts. talked abotu over lives in ns, while some others are still waiting to enlist. then played at some playground which we all agree is not meant for kids because it's way too dangerous. it's like a mini SOC. serious!

Sunday
met up with my section mates from bmt. attendance almost full, including our section commander. but some came and go. playe dmany things that day. super fun. played pool and highlight of the day was the scoop scoop shit at marina sq. as i cant resist it, i started playing. 1st dollar i put in, two toys came out. then at the 3/4th try, another 3 dropped at once. all the rest were super stunned and amazed, makign so much noise. even our sgt also obsessed. he like damn excited sia, keep playing. i swear he spent like 15 dollars but nvr catch anythign himself. all i catch. hahaha!

after 9 weeks, we finally passed out yesterday.

everyone was so elated and shouting "POP LO!"

dunno why lah, everybody shouting the same shit.

hahaha prior to that was 24km march. i swear it was unbelievable that i could even complete it in one piece. woke up at 2.10am (woke up okay, not sleep hor!) to wash up clear bunk all these then go breakfast at 3am, draw arms, then proceeded to parade square for warm up at 4am and at 4.30am we moved off for our march. it's always a different experience for the different distances that we had to march. this time, the first 8km was easy, probably because we were all high and singing some nonsense shit all the way. slowly and slowly at the 12km mark, went back tot he field camp site. wah that one ar, freakign imba one. 6km=4km, plus it's uphill and rocky all the way. some fell out, some fainted from other coy. following this i began to struggle already. worst, i sprained my ankle twice in a row plus abrasions were starting to hurt andand blisters all over my foot. worst X2, my exhaustion almost attacked. luckily my friends were all by my side and helped.

but towards the last 8km, i felt re-energised. the thought of passing out of bmt works quite well. sang some songs in my head and with the platoon as well to keep me going and to distract me from all the pain on my legs. finally, we arrived at the form-up point (destination). GREAT SENSE OF ACCOMPLISHMENT AND SATISFACTION!

went to bathe, had lunch, and started preparing for parade already!

looking back makes me realise school is afterall not a bad place.
despite the really-ever-so-stressful muggeridian JC, studying is still more preferred.
at least there's more freedom and dont have to live life so 'carefully', for fear of earning a confinement for any damn thing that you do wrongly.

army life is so very rountine-d. everyday wake up 5BX(sometimes), drink 500ml of water or sometimes even more, yes sir, yes sergeant, march here, sing song, march there, sing song, sit, squat, stand, put black sling bag one side, drink 500ml of water, draw arms, shout butt number, sign a freaking form where you cannot touch the line or else confinement, go everywhere with your rifle, lowpod, highpod, ...... , clear arms, send arms, shout butt number, sign form, last parade, drink 500ml of water, put mosquito net, set alarm, lights out.
there's practically no need to think what to do next. everything is planned for you and one thing is for sure, im sick of seeing wayang people all around. i choose to keep quiet and honestly i havent shown a single bit of leadership ever since i enlisted. probably because im lazy but really, you will be overwrited if you start talking.

in school, house comm or whatever, we could anythign we wanted. wreck the house comm room untitl the fan spoils, play fire sparklers in the toilet (heh hope no teacher reads my blog). anyhow the point is, i miss school.

it's 0505 civilian time and 0511 raven time now and im still wide awake, prior to a nap from 6pm to 1am. hahaha

reason is because we woke up at 3.45 am yesterday for 16km route march which caused a freakign bad abrasion on my thighs and stomach (lol?) and blisters on my toes. now i walk like a got a freakign big ____ . proceeded for specialist checkup after i booked out and they said need to go for a few more follow ups. wtheck is wrong man! i feel perfectly well now, can eat, jump, sleep, march, sing. just dunno why must keep going for checkup also. irritating.

next week is POP! how time flies.
but then again, there's another one year plus to go.
am skeptical whether i should go to command school if i happened to be posted. because ive had several cases of blackouts and i certainly dun like the feeling at all. i feel crappy and nooob. this issue had been goign round my head for sometime. a part of me wants to be a commander, to be able to lead again but there's the other side of me that tells me that i should not go. i dont want my friends and parents to worry and netither do i like being sent into the medical centre. the numbness and cramps on the body is definitely not something that you want to experience. it sucks! bigtime.

firstly, i am really very satisfied with my results. esp for econs!

all my hard work paid off and prayers all came true.

my targets were BBAAA and my actual results: CBAAA. close to my targets. so JC1 please study , esp the hosue comm, whom ive always been urging them to study harder.

then again, i din have my much time to 'celebrate' after ive gotten my results. i felt fucking sian (i have to use the f word to show how sian i was) cos i had to book in later in the night. all my classmates were enjoying and i have field camp the following day. sian TTM!

field camp
after going thru 5D4N in the jungle, other than not bathing and brushing, leopard crawling in the mud, turnouts and more turnouts, it has made me realise many things and foun dout a selfish side of me that i hadnt seen before. i was never like this before i entered army. however, this selfish side of me begin to become more prominent as days went by and it came full force during the field camp. a side of me tells me that i shoudnt act like this, but there's always the other side. i dun understand why i had act in that stupid manner and it's not only for a day or so. practically everyday. it's time that i have to reflect and erase this bad habit. i want to be a better person for the people around me are simply too good. I HAVE TO CHANGE!

other than that the experience in a jungle has been pretty good. sleeping in a different environment everyday which includes barsha (self made tent), a shellscrape and in the open. ive learnt alot from there and many many valuable lessons and precautions that i have to take.
in addition, this was the first time i exerted myself so much that i actually had to stretcher-ed out to the medic point. they termed my condition as physical exhaustion. iwhat happened was, we were only given 20 min to bury our shellscrape until it seems as though it had not been dug up before. so i pia like a siao. wait side track abit. the size of the hole was supposed to be a one man size, but i dug one that can fit up to three men. dunno what the hell is wrong with me lah seriously. like really digging a graveyard for myself. so back to the topic. i was breathing profusely, trying to tcatch my breath back and suddenly just felt weak and dropped. numb all over my body. yes all the way from my face to my toes which immobilised my for a moment. could only move my eyes a little and had not much reponse as well. lucky all was well after that.
i should really thank all the commanders who helpled me in one way or another.

yup i cant reveal any much more. so thats just about what happened in the jungle.

and i dun seem to have the mood to do my uni application. like sian sia.
oh yes did i mentioned i got silver for IPPT this time?

how long has it been

it's been long since ive blogged.
the army life had very much changed the way i have to live. it pretty much screwed up my life, like things that i usually do and act.

now, whenever i come home, all i want to do is lie on the bed and not move. there's hardly any time for me to rest in the army, partly because the schedule in my coy is really packed. activities come one right after another and even had to rush to bathe at night, with strtegic planning on how to chiong to the toilet the fastest way. and for the record, our bunk has managed to be the first to bathe, heh but i dun want say how we do it. very stupid.
mixing around with a whole bunch of boys just makes a childish person, even more childish. i seriously cant believe why the hell i will do certain things there leh. but the life in there is somewhat like in jc, since the entire batch of people are from jc as well. hence, personalities and culture are somewhat similar and familiar.

let me share abit of the people in my section.
there's a super smart guy, who passed his scholarship interview for SPFO. there's an AJC fastest tracker, and SA soccer player, a super fit canoeist & rockclimber and of cos, me, always bringing THE entertainment hahahahaha. made some good friends in there and it feels like 107 all over again.

i think army is all about mental strength. whether you are willing to overcome your limitations, willign to give it your all during trainings, willing to do the extra mile, willing to put in your best. for the past week, i tried to erase the weak mentality in my head and really gave my best during training esp during running/jogging. even when im tried, i told myself not to give up because if i continue being weak, i wouldnt benefit much for all these streneous trainings and ultimately fail IPPT (napfa) fcuk. yes i failed my napfa inside. nathan! failed 2.4 by a few seconds. this week on, i think trainings will get tougher than ever, because field camp is approaching. and speaking of field camp, resuls are comign out this fri. shit. and i have to book in for camp on sat. really a test of mental strength i tell you.

i ahve to be on my way to sleeping now. i am 5 am warrior now. get ready, i may sms you at 4+ am to tell you that im awake. hahahaha. good night.

hi people.
i have not really done a proper post about my life over the past week.

the military life so far has been rather good. other than building up your body physically and teaching some basics about weapons and all. nothign much had really happened yet. the schedule is super packed, such that i only have less than half an hour of free time everyday.
did i mentioned that i fell ill the very first day i was in tekong?
hahah joke sia. i think it's due to dehydration cause they made us stand under the 12 noon sun for about 2 to 3 hours to collect our stuff and allocation of buks and all. as such when it's time to take temperature in the evening, mine shot up to 38.0 and suddenly felt weak.
so it's quite good lah, i get to stay under shade and walk while others had to march everywhere they went, and this lasted for three days. i never keng okay, the highest temperature went up to 38.2, so this shows that i was really sick.

as for the rest of the things that happened in the army, i have to tell you personally so that it's more interesting. it's very hard to depict it here, partly because i sucked at writing as well. oh yes, even in army, we have to write essays and attend lectures. nice

these few days had been well spent with some good bunch of people.

TUESDAY

shopped at orchard myself before going to the airport to pick my dad. saw some meridians running around the area for MMM, just like how we were in the past. heh! saw dom workign at uniqlo.

dad came back from china after 8 months, due to A levels. as usual he told us stories about how he lived in china, how the people are so selfish and different from how we are and all sorts of funny stories. sadly i'll only get to see him for 2 more days(?) before i enter NS. like a sad.

after that go eunos with my dad to make his specs and then to crocodile to collect my pay. the pay's not bad you know. hahaha esp since ive only worked for 2 weeks. went ikea and then to school for orientation finale. not a bad choice to go back. it really felt like orientation for us all over a again. seeing freinds whom i never seen for ages! had great fun last night and i even got to do a cheer, so no regrets. ha! some pictures, but not all, must wait for weiwei to upload.

i suddenly got the urge to buy alot of things like the 'Beyond 9' hoodie. it really looks very cool. i alled the only branch of giordano that carries this range in singapore, which is in tao payoh btw. and they freakin said they are all sold out. checked it out online just now and it cost USD$70! thats like S$105? shall go and shop tmr afternoon before i head on down to the airport to pick my dad up. yes he's coming back from china like finally after 7 months?
after work, accompanied sy to cut her hair. ha! on the way she was sayign how scared she was and how courageous for her to cut her hair. it looks nice actually, but its not very very different. shall post it up here maybe when she uploads it. shermine joined us to and we wanted to watch tooth fairy. sadly no slot.

this week's gonna be packed with many things. many meetups to do with different people, going back for finale night, prssco bbq, go out with dad and eating reunion dinner perhaps since i am going into ns ald. plus i need to shop a little and pack my bag for ns. cant imagine the moment when i am really gonna cut my hair. think i'll just go mad. it takes much more courage that sy cuttign her hair. hello fellow badies. to think i am actually gonna collect my results with my bald head, hopefully not in ns uniform!!!!!!

the album is very different from other people's album. it contains not only pictures but also their messages to the fans and family and each of them wrote a quite lengthy paragraph, not just those slipshod type. because most are in korean, so i could only understand what tiffany was writing cause she wrote it in english instead. hahaha.
ald asked alot of people from overseas to help me look out for it including my dad. i hope to get that album soon. omg!

though it's been only a week plus since ive worked at crocodile, ive learnt many thigns about the coding, materials that the other colleagues may not have learnt. at the same time, it exposes me to differnt types of people living in this world. just within my dept, there are people who are really slack, like take diner breaks for more than the allocated time, like going to smoke every now and then? and then there're people who works hard in front of the supervisor to some extent.
as for myself, you can hardly see me lazing/idling around. not that i self praise or what but ar sometime sis really the very the buay tahan leh. seems like i am always doing their part. just now the supervisor said something during the debrief, then the few in my dept say tmr want take off. so it's left with only 2 1/4 people workign there. 1/4 because of the slacker. he there of not there, not much diff. hahaha
just wanted to do some ranting.

but i do receive some rewards as well. other than what ive learnt from there, my dinner was really good today. i had a drumstick more than the others. not purposely give me one. perhaps i was lucky hahaha.

my life is nothing but work and drama now. it's pretty quite a routine but somewhat different from how it was a few months ago.

work has been good. slackers, rather slacker (drug addict) is now more diligent. he takes initiative and is always working non stop. he talks to me, smiles, laughs and tells me something about his life. (i am sounding like i know him for dam long liddat). but thats really a relief. now the problem is the pretty boy. he visits the toilet frequently and everytime he does that is 10min gone. you do not have to carry on readin gthis rant/crap if you dun wish to btw. so when he comes back from his leave tmr. i hope everything just turns out well.

on the good side, i have a good supervisor who takes care of every single one in my dept. he buys us food. drinks occasionally and had taught me many things. matters like how to differentiate quality/non-quality goods that was supposed not to be leaked out.
just hope i have a splendid time wokring there for the rest of the period. shall thank him.

sunday.

the work is a really interesting place. you can see all kind of funny/dumb/retarded things happening over there.

1. right opposite the crocodile building is the TRAFFIC POLICE station that is so much bigger than crocodile just in case you dont know. some gundo customers still ngeh ngeh park their car ouside the building. then how, summon lo!
2. the price tag so dam big right in front of your eyes, still need ask for price.
3. supervisor only serve pretty girls with patience.
4. (NOT INTERESTING AT ALL!) got 3 ultimate slackers in my dept. LITERALLY! dam pissed with them.
5. bron keep looking at a girl in his dept, whom i dont think is cute at all, who's quitting tmr and bron i sad i guess. (i am talking to him about her on msn now, ha X2)
6. supervisor quite nice to me. eg. he 6pm ask me go take food plus put curry cos he scared my food kena stolen. fyi, there'll always 1 packet short of food and my dinner time i s at 7 btw.
7. one os the slacker machiam take drugs. nathan his eyes are yellow, half closed and he looks lethargic everyday. lol

favourite time of the day: dinner.
the dinner they provide is sumptuous. it's like 4 dishes of chap cai peng. of cos, i finsihed every single bit of it. god dam hungry while working dunno why also, always eat one.

shall take a picture with every single one whom ive mentioned on my blog someday.

crocodile warehouse sales officially started today and sure gave all workers a shock. the crowd is really imba. initially thought ubi would be an ulu place, but inthe end damn alot of people.
fold clothes, pack wagon, replenish until can die.
some customers is really..... they want you to serve them like they are buying 17 LV bags.
and the supervisor said today is considered little, wait till you see the crowd during weekends.
worse is, i only had 12 min for dinner.
worse worse, got two ultimate slacker at my section, okay lah maybe one, cos the other one got do abit in the end. if i never ask them do, they will just stand there like a rock. even the other colleague also come tell me "eh that fella stand there like kum gong sia!"
i just smiled, but my heart totally agreed hands down.
luckily tmr no need work.

anyway, can anyone help me with the scholarships thing. im at a lost.
